Job Title: Analog Mixed Signal Designer – Design Lead
Location: France
Salary: Very competitive

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Understanding and defining highly integrated systems in wireless and mobile power management applications.
• Leading and implementing analog IC designs from specification to production release. This will include the design and verification of IC/modules as well as the responsibility and ownership to support the product from customer definition until production release.

MAIN TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Chip/Module design lead (Spec definition, customer communication, project follow-up, design reviews and design guidance)
• Definition of power management system architectures, including digital control for analog (state machine).
• Definition of transistor level cell architectures
• Detailed transistor level design and simulation
• Supervision of blocks and sub-system layout
• Preparation of test specifications, and assisting with cell characterization
• Interface with customer & high-level architect
• Silicon validation
• Support Chip Level Verification and assure Testability (Design For Test, DFT)
• Support Test Development and Manufacturing and transfer to production

Examples of such IPs are :
• Power Management Chips comprising of High Efficiency Buck and Boost DCDC.
• Very low quiescent current LDOs, very low current reference
• High Current Charge Pumps.

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid experience in mixed-signal IC design with emphasis on analog.
• Past experience in project &/or design leading.
• Knowledge of Cellular Systems and other Mobile Power Management Block such as DCDC/LDOs/Charge Pumps
• Full understanding of analog design and simulation techniques
• Design of Low power & low noise integrated CMOS circuits
• Ability to handle customer communication and to drive technical presentations
• Lab experience in silicon validation and characterization
• Able to share knowledge with junior engineer, and to provide appropriate guidance
• Available for overseas travel
