PRODUCT MANAGER

OVERVIEW

My Client, a leading Mobile Network Operator is currently looking to expand its Marketing Division by recruiting for a Product Manager.

This role is accountable for the growth and management, from concept to launch of an exciting new product for small business customers.
The product manager will have lead responsibility for the in-life management and optimisation of performance over product lifecycle both commercially and technically.


THE ROLE

• Manage the lifecycle of products, including roll-out, monitoring and improving the customer experience, enhancements to meet customer needs and market circumstances.
• Defines and implements processes to monitor the performance of the product in markets and ensure that it delivers as specified in the requirements. Define and implement actions to rectify any issues, and improve performance and customer experience
• Work with lead OPCO / OPCOs to ensure successful launch, ensuring all technical and support aspects of the solution are in place. Provide support to the product marketing manager on the detailed launch plan, including training and support, communications.
• Manage cross functional team (partners, vendors, OPCOs, GT, Supply chain and terminals, other GBS functions) to deliver the project to agreed timescale and budget. Manage trade offs between time / cost and quality through the duration of the project to optimise the commercial outcome.
• Responsible for all aspects of verification and test, including final integration / customer acceptance test in market.
• Develops solution concepts into detailed solution requirements covering service and support requirements / channel requirements / GTM guidelines. Ensuring detailed understanding of customer need is built into the requirements definition


THE PERSON

• Experience of developing and driving Enterprise product marketing strategies in PBX related products.
• A proven blend of marketing & product experience, gained through experience of working in an international or matrix environment
• Experience of developing business cases and sizing market opportunities
• Analytical – the ability to scope, drive and analyse market research/insight to develop action plans
• Project management – the ability to manage many projects in parallel, on time and on budget
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English/able to work in an English speaking environment
• Core marketing – the ability to build preference- and revenue-driving products and capability
